The Dev-Team has released the past few hours a new update of Absinthe tool that allows you to jailbreak iPhone OS 5 devices with processor A5.
The update to version 0.4 introduces the following new features :
- Mac: added support for OS X 10.5, PPC and Intel CPU
- Added a consistency check on startup
- Windows: fixed the bug in the generator of the payload that could cause crashes
The update is not necessary for those who have already taken steps to jailbreak. And 'however encouraging to note the Dev-Team is continuing to support and improve the tool that was able to achieve the coveted result of the release of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
